SunGene Announces that It Has Surpassed Industry Benchmarks
January 10, 2024- SunGene Industry Co., Ltd. has formally announced significant post-remediation data derived from its Fuyu Oil Production Plant located in the Jilin Oilfield of China. This data verifies that the BIRC technology is effective in neutralizing hazardous oil sludge, converting it into valuable and compliant resources. Following a comprehensive two-year testing period, these results reaffirm the project’s commitment to environmental compliance and economic viability.
Post-Remediation Test Results: Exceeding Industry Standards Independent third-party laboratories have conducted analyses on the outputs from the BIRC process, confirming exceptional performance in the following areas:
1. Recovered Oil Purity: The hydrocarbon recovery rate has achieved 98.7%, significantly surpassing the industry average of 85%. The reclaimed oil adheres to GB 17820-2018 standards for refinery-grade feedstock.
2. Treated Water Quality: The operation has attained Class IV discharge standards, exhibiting COD levels below 30 mg/L and TPH levels below 1 mg/L. Notably, eighty-five percent of treated water is reused onsite for cooling purposes, thereby reducing freshwater demand by 40%.
3. Decontaminated Solids: The hydrocarbon content in solids has been diminished to below 0.3%, falling below China’s regulated threshold of 0.5%. The material is certified for utilization in landfills, road construction, and soil blending.
4. Captured Natural Gas: The captured gas comprises 92% methane, rendering it suitable for on-site power generation. This process effectively reduces CO2-equivalent emissions by 12,000 tons annually through the substitution of diesel fuel.
